Abstract
The research examines the popularity of black magic in Pakistan and its association with
suspense and horror. It explores the factors that attract audiences to this genre and highlights
the need for more exploration and experimentation within Pakistan's entertainment industry.
With a lack of locally-produced content in this genre, the research emphasizes the opportunity
to impress audiences with a short film that combines suspense, black magic, and the deception
of friends. Additionally, the study underscores the potential harmfulness of black magic, as it
can instill fear, promote exploitation, and perpetuate social divisions within Pakistani society.
By shedding light on these negative impacts, the research emphasizes the importance of
addressing and mitigating the adverse consequences associated with black magic practices. The
film revolves around three friends involved in black magic and its unimaginable consequence
faced by one. This endeavor aims to captivate viewers with a thrilling local narrative while
showcasing the untapped potential of this genre in Pakistan.
