A short film that represents the act of catfishing among social media users. A catfish is someone who uses fake information to create an online identity which does not represent their true self. This involves using stolen pictures, taken unwillingly from a third party. or using entirely edited pictures. Catfishing being an everyday phenomenon happens in Pakistan as well, and very frequently. The main purpose of this short film is to create awareness about the dark side of social media and its influence on the daily lives of people. It is integral to educate people about the safe use of social media when it comes to sharing information or communicating with strangers online.
