dc.description.abstractStray animals are subjected to the worst kinds of abuse, neglect and trauma on a regular basis, and humans consciously turn a blind eye to it. This documentary depicts role that stray animals play in our society, and the trauma they are victimized to on a daily basis, as well as the relationship between humans and their pets, while emphasizing on better care and welfare of the animals. It is not only the religious sentiments at play, but the role of governmental failure that contributes to impoverished state of the animals. This research will help shed light on the mistreatment of animals, and provide the audience a new perspective of how to deal with the presented problem. This is to help people recognize the importance of animals and the integral role they play in our society and on this planet, as more than being a part of the ecosystem and food chain. This documentary is an effort to bring out a more positive outlook and attitude towards our fellow sentient beings. It captures and represents the relationship between animals and humans, and highlights the need for animal welfare in the society.
